Cleaned the engine bay today as storm clouds loomed overhead. It’s a start at least. I did end up pulling the battery and then the windshield wash fluid tank and air filter box to get to the valve covers. I need to go back in with an entire day planned to just deep clean the entire thing and get in to all the nooks and crannies while scrubbing the absolute hell out of the intake manifold. I didn’t touch up the hoses or some of the other spots that were easy to get to for some reason.
At least it’s a start from having just about never cleaned this part of the car before

Thanks! I need to buy some smaller brushes and remove some hoses the next go around to really get at some tight spots.
